21 to 24 March 2025 (Cotabato City) – Atty. Rizal Thaddeus Acas, Head of the Commission Secretariat of the National Amnesty Commission (NAC), provided an overview of the Amnesty Process to members of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) during a training session organized by the United Nations Development Programme. The event, titled “Training of Trainers on Community Human Rights and Amnesty Awareness Raising Program,” was held in Cotabato City.

The training aimed to engage MILF members, provide community-wide orientation and support, and encourage eligible individuals to apply for amnesty.

As a resource speaker, Atty. Acas highlighted NAC’s vital role in the government’s amnesty initiative. He also outlined the current guidelines and requirements for amnesty applications, ensuring participants had a clear understanding of the process.
